Affiliate
LeadJourney for affiliate marketers – match every click you pay for to the commission the network pays back, and see true ROI per campaign, offer and network. Start here, then set up the four building blocks below.
You drive paid (or organic) traffic to offers you don't own, and an affiliate network pays you a commission when a sale happens. LeadJourney ties that whole chain together – the click you paid for, the redirect to the offer, and the commission the network sends back – so you see true ROI per campaign, offer and network, not just clicks out.
What you'll be able to see
For every campaign → offer → network: clicks, cost, conversions, commission revenue, ROAS, ROI and profit – so you know which campaign, offer and network actually make money, and which traffic source to scale.
What we solve
On your own site you'd drop a tracking script on your pages. As an affiliate you usually can't add a script to the merchant's offer page – so the click you paid for and the commission you earned live in two different systems that never talk to each other.
LeadJourney closes that gap with two pieces:
- A redirect link that stamps every visitor with a
lj_click_idbefore forwarding them to the offer. - A network postback that reports the commission back to LeadJourney, matched to that exact click.
The result: a single view where cost (from your ad platforms) and revenue (from network postbacks) meet on the same click – real profit, not guesswork.
The building blocks
These four areas make up the Affiliate section. Set them up in order, or jump to whichever one you need.
Affiliate Networks
Add who pays you – Clickbank, CJ, Impact.com, Digistore24 or a custom network – and map their postback macros to LeadJourney fields.
Affiliate Offers
The products you promote, each with its affiliate link and default commission revenue. No script on the partner's page needed.
Affiliate Campaigns
Generate the click-tracked redirect URLs you actually advertise – one ready-made link per traffic channel.
Affiliate Landing Pages
Register your money pages and pre-landers, then split-test variants by weight to find the highest-converting page.
Set it up in this order
Connect your ad platforms
Connect the accounts you spend on so cost data syncs automatically – the "spend" half of your ROI. Native, email or solo-ad spend won't sync, so add that manually under Channel Costs.
Connect your ad platforms
OAuth into Meta, Google, LinkedIn and Bing so spend syncs automatically.
Set up a tracking domain
Add a first-party tracking domain (a CNAME on a subdomain like go.your-site.com). Your redirect
links run on this domain, which keeps click tracking accurate. Only verified domains can be used
by your campaigns.
Set up a custom tracking domain
The verified first-party domain your redirect links run on.
Add your networks
Tell LeadJourney how to read each network's postback – which value is the click ID, which is the revenue, and so on. Start from a ready-made template or build a custom one.
Affiliate Networks
Add who pays you and map their postback macros to LeadJourney fields.
Add the offers you promote
Paste the affiliate link the network gave you (LeadJourney appends its tracking parameters automatically), set a default commission revenue, and optionally link the offer to a network.
Affiliate Offers
The products you promote, each with its affiliate link and commission revenue.
Wire up the postback
The postback URL is how a network tells LeadJourney a sale happened and how much you earned. It's
configured once for the whole workspace under Settings → Events. The lj_click_id is what
matches a commission back to the exact click you paid for.
Events & the Events Manager
The workspace postback URL that affiliate networks send commissions to.
Create campaigns & grab your links
A campaign is the link you actually advertise. LeadJourney generates a short redirect URL per traffic channel that stamps a click ID and forwards the visitor to your offer. Pick Redirect Tracking when you can't add a script, choose your verified domain, and optionally split-test landing pages by weight.
Affiliate Campaigns
Generate the click-tracked redirect URLs you advertise, one per channel.

Track channel costs
Add cost data for non-paid channels – SEO agencies, email tools, freelancers – so LeadJourney calculates accurate ROI across every traffic source, not just your paid ads.
Affiliate Networks
Add the affiliate networks that pay you commissions – start from a ready-made template (Clickbank, CJ, Impact.com, Digistore24) or build a custom one, and map each network's postback macros to LeadJourney fields.
