My workspace data is shown in the wrong time zone
Why timestamps and report dates look off by a few hours or land on the wrong day – and how to fix it.
If lead times look off by a few hours, or activity lands on the wrong day in your reports, the cause is almost always the workspace time zone. It's a single workspace-wide setting, and when it doesn't match your own working day, every timestamp and day boundary shifts with it.
Most common cause
The workspace time zone is set to a different zone than you work in – often the default UTC or a zone that auto-detect suggested from a browser in another region. Every date and time in the workspace is shown in that zone.
How to fix it
Open the Workspace Information card
Go to Settings → Sub-users, or open app.leadjourney.io/settings?slug=sub-users directly. The Workspace Information card sits at the top of the tab.
Choose the right time zone
Open the Time zone dropdown and type your city or region to filter the list, then pick your zone. LeadJourney can also auto-detect the zone from your browser and suggest it – accept the suggestion only if it matches where you actually work.
Save
Click Save Workspace Details. The button stays greyed out until you change something, and a confirmation appears once it's saved. Timestamps and report dates update to the new zone.

Why a wrong zone throws off your reports
It moves your day boundaries too
The time zone doesn't just relabel timestamps – it sets where each day starts and ends. If the zone is several hours off, leads that came in late in your evening can be counted on the next day, so daily totals and "today" won't line up with your real day. Setting the right zone realigns them.
Still not right?
- The clock format looks wrong, not the time. Right next to the time zone is Time Format – switch between a 12-hour (AM/PM) and 24-hour clock. It saves with the same Save Workspace Details button.
- You don't see the Workspace Information card. Only a workspace owner (or an agency managing the workspace) can change the time zone. Ask your workspace owner to update it.
- Times shifted by an hour on their own. That's usually daylight saving – named zones (e.g. Europe/Berlin) handle the switch automatically, so keep a city-based zone rather than a fixed UTC offset.
