How long does LeadJourney store your historical data?
How long your clicks, conversions, leads and cost data stay in LeadJourney – there's no rolling window that auto-deletes old data, you can report all the way back to your first tracked click.
For as long as your account is active. LeadJourney does not run a rolling window that quietly drops data after 30, 90 or 365 days. Your clicks, conversions, leads and imported cost records stay in your workspace, so you can pull a report all the way back to your very first tracked click.
In short
Your historical data is kept for the life of your account – nothing expires on a timer. Data only leaves LeadJourney when you delete it (raw log rows, an ad account's old data) or when the account itself is closed.
You can report back to "All Time"
Reports and the Logs tab open on a recent window by default – usually the current month – simply so the screen isn't flooded with history on first load. That default is not a storage limit. Open the date picker and choose a custom range, or pick All Time, and LeadJourney pulls every matching row it has ever recorded for your workspace.
So if you signed up two years ago, an All Time report still includes the clicks and conversions from your first week.
Your data survives setup changes
Reorganising your account doesn't wipe its history. The product is deliberately built so that changing how a channel is set up keeps the numbers behind it intact:
- Deactivating a traffic channel hides it from your reports but deletes nothing – reactivate it at any time and all of its historical data is back.
- Deleting a custom traffic channel removes the channel's configuration, but its historical data is preserved in your reports.
In other words, the data isn't tied to the live state of your settings. It stays until it's explicitly removed.
When historical data is removed
Data leaves your workspace only through a deliberate action:
- You delete raw rows in the Logs tab. You can remove individual clicks or conversions – intended for cleaning up test or incorrect rows. This is permanent and changes the totals in your reports. See Understanding your logs.
- You disconnect an ad account and choose to delete its old data. Disconnecting a Meta, Google or Bing ad account asks whether you also want to delete the existing historical data for that account. If you say no, the data stays.
- The account is closed. Closing your LeadJourney account removes its data.
Specific retention or deletion requirements?
If you have a contractual or compliance requirement for a particular retention period – or you need data deleted on a schedule – contact us at [email protected] so we can confirm the exact handling for your workspace.
Keep your own copy any time
Because your data sticks around, you can export it whenever you need an offline or archived copy. Every Logs sub-tab has an Export button that downloads the raw rows – the current view or every row matching your filters – as a CSV. See Understanding your logs.
