LeadJourney for Agencies

The complete setup for agencies – run a separate workspace per client, switch between them in one click, connect each client's ad accounts, control exactly what your team and clients see, and report true ROI per client.

You run ads for multiple clients, and each one needs its own tracking, its own ad accounts and its own reports – without you juggling a dozen logins. This is the end-to-end playbook for agencies: keep every client in a separate workspace, switch between them in a click, set each one up once, and control exactly what your team and your clients can see.

What you'll be able to do

Spin up a workspace per client, switch between them from one login, connect all of a client's ad accounts, invite your team and the client with scoped access, and report clicks, cost, leads, ROAS and ROI for each client – proving the value of the spend you manage.

Agency access has to be enabled

Creating client workspaces and the Agency dashboard are only available when your account is set up as an agency. If you don't see the Agency option in your profile menu, contact your LeadJourney account manager to have it enabled. Full detail in Manage multiple workspaces.

How an agency setup is structured

Each client lives in its own workspace – isolated tracking, ad accounts, events, reports and team. You manage all of them from one Agency area and switch between them without logging out. Inside each workspace, the setup is exactly the Advertiser playbook applied to that client. So this guide focuses on the parts that are agency-specific: creating and switching workspaces, connecting many ad accounts, and controlling access.

Get agency access enabled

The Agency dashboard and Create Client Workspace only appear for agency accounts. If you don't see Agency in your profile menu, ask your LeadJourney account manager to switch it on.

Manage multiple workspaces

Enable agency access, then create and switch between client workspaces.

Create a workspace for each client

From the Agency dashboard, click + Create Client Workspace, name it after the client (e.g. Acme Inc.) and add the client contact who should own it. LeadJourney creates the workspace and emails the client their login – and you can switch into it right away to start the setup yourself.

Switch in one click

Anyone who belongs to more than one workspace switches between them from the profile menu – no logging out. The green checkmark always shows which workspace you're currently in, so you never edit the wrong client by accident.

Set up each client workspace

Switch into the new workspace and set it up like any advertiser account: workspace basics (company, time zone, currency), a tracking domain, the tracking script on the client's site, their ad accounts, and the CRM events for their pipeline. The full walkthrough is the Advertiser playbook – follow it once per client.

Advertiser playbook

The complete per-workspace setup: tracking, ad platforms, events and reports.

Connect all of a client's ad accounts

Connect each platform once via OAuth, then turn on every ad account that login can reach – there's no limit. A client might have three Meta accounts and two Google accounts feeding the same workspace; for Google, a manager (MCC) login exposes all its sub-accounts at once.

Connect multiple ad accounts

Track every Meta, Google, LinkedIn and Bing account from one login per platform.

Invite your team and the client – with scoped access

Add people from the Sub-users tab, choose a role, and decide whether they see everything or only specific reports and channels. The Agency Member role is meant for your own staff working on the account; you can give a client limited access to just their reports, and restrict a media buyer to only the channels they run.

Add users to your workspace

Invite team and clients, pick roles, and control which reports and channels each sees.

Grant the least access needed

When you turn full access off, LeadJourney pre-selects the role's natural permissions – start from there and uncheck what a person shouldn't see, especially across client accounts. Consider two-factor authentication for everyone with access.

Build per-client reporting

Inside each workspace, pin the views the client cares about to a Dashboard, and use the Report Builder and prebuilt reports to show clicks, cost, leads, ROAS and ROI. Add any retainer, tooling or freelancer spend under Channel Costs so the ROI you report to the client is complete.

Reporting that proves your value

Per client, three reports answer the questions an agency gets asked most:

  • Traffic Channel Report – is the spend working, channel by channel: clicks, cost, leads, CPL, revenue, ROAS and profit.
  • Campaign Report – drill campaign → ad set → ad to show what you scaled and what you cut, and why.
  • Lead Overview – the actual leads you generated, each with its full journey – useful when a client asks "where did this customer come from?"

Pick attribution per client

Different clients have different sales cycles. Set the attribution model and window per report to match each client's funnel – long B2B journeys often need first click and a longer window, direct-response e-commerce rarely does.

Tips for managing many clients

  • Name workspaces consistently – use the client's company name (plus a region or brand suffix if they have several) so the switcher and agency list stay easy to scan.
  • Mind which workspace you're in – the green checkmark and workspace name show your current context. Double-check before changing settings or reading reports.
  • Set up one client end to end first – run a full test click and a test conversion through one workspace before rolling the same pattern out across the rest.
  • Scope access tightly – give each client and media buyer only the reports and channels they need; it keeps client data separate and reports uncluttered.

Billing for client workspaces

Plans and billing aren't managed in the dashboard – adding client workspaces to your plan, invoices and your agency arrangement are handled by the LeadJourney team. See Billing & subscription.
